Lady Jeanne Galway is an internationally acclaimed flutist, educator, and chamber musician whose artistry, leadership, and dedication to music education have earned her worldwide recognition. Known for her radiant tone, elegant musicianship, and inspiring presence, she has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber artist on major stages across the globe.
A native of New York, Lady Galway studied at the Mannes College of Music and with legendary flutist Julius Baker. Throughout her distinguished career, she has appeared with leading orchestras and collaborated with many of the world’s foremost musicians. Her performances, recordings, and educational projects have introduced audiences around the world to the beauty and versatility of the flute.
Alongside her performing career, Lady Galway is deeply committed to nurturing future generations of musicians. Through masterclasses, workshops, educational programs, and the Galway Flute Academy, she has mentored countless flutists and helped shape the development of young artists internationally.
