ABOUT YULIA BERRY
Yulia Berry, DMA, is an internationally recognized flutist, educator, author, publisher, and digital innovator based in Boston. A graduate of the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, she combines classical artistry with digital publishing and educational innovation to support the global flute community.
As a performer and educator, Yulia has appeared in Europe, Russia, and the United States, presenting recitals, educational programs, lectures, and masterclasses. She has also served as a juror for international flute competitions and continues to teach flutists of all ages and levels.
Yulia Berry is the founder and Editorial Director of Flute Almanac, founder of the Global Flute Directory, The Babel Flute, the New England Flute Institute, and the Global Flute Excellence Awards. She also served as Director and Technical Organizer of the Global Flute Convention, one of the largest online flute events organized for the international flute community.
Her work focuses on flute performance, pedagogy, history, publishing, and digital innovation. She is the author of the philosophical book When Sound Becomes Meaning and the founder of Flute Almanac Editions, an independent publishing initiative dedicated to books and educational resources for musicians. Through her articles, essays, books, and digital projects, she continues to explore the relationship between music, beauty, education, and human understanding while developing resources for flutists and musicians worldwide.
In 2024, Yulia Berry was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who for her contributions to music, education, publishing, and digital innovation.
