ABOUT YULIA BERRY
Yulia Berry, DMA, is an internationally recognized flutist, educator, and digital innovator based in Boston. A graduate of the prestigious Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, she combines classical artistry with modern vision to inspire audiences and students around the world.
Known for her expressive tone and stylistic versatility, Yulia has performed in Europe, Russia, and the United States, and has appeared at festivals, recitals, and online events reaching thousands. She is frequently invited to contribute as a featured soloist, lecturer, and juror for global flute competitions.
Yulia is the founder of Flute Almanac, Web Flute Academy, The Babel Flute, and the New England Flute Institute, and served as the Director and Technical Organizer of the Global Flute Convention and Global Flute Excellence Awards, which became the largest online flute event in history.
Her passion for flute history, pedagogy, and innovation is evident in her published research, digital projects, and curated educational experiences. Yulia’s work bridges tradition with technology, offering a new path forward for the 21st-century flutist.
She has collaborated with top flutists, composers, and flute makers and is a champion of global accessibility, multilingual publishing, and cross-cultural musical exchange.
