Recipient of the Global Flute Excellence Awards Ensemble of the Year 2025 in recognition of outstanding educational leadership, artistic achievement, and community impact during its tenth anniversary season.
The award recognizes the Marmara Flute Orchestra’s leadership in organizing Türkiye’s largest flute ensemble performance, bringing together 485 flutists from across the country in a landmark celebration of ensemble performance and musical collaboration. This achievement demonstrated the ensemble’s exceptional ability to unite musicians through education, mentorship, and shared artistic purpose.
The recognition also acknowledges the orchestra’s international representation of Turkish flute culture through its participation at the National Flute Association Festival in the United States, as well as its ongoing contributions to flute education, community engagement, and ensemble development throughout Türkiye.

The Marmara Flute Orchestra (Marmara Flüt Orkestrası) is one of Türkiye’s leading flute ensembles, recognized for its commitment to artistic excellence, music education, and community engagement. Founded in 2015 within Marmara University, the orchestra has developed into a dynamic national platform that brings together flutists of different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels through collaborative performance and educational initiatives.
