Lyrebird Press
Lyrebird Press is an Australian specialist academic music publisher based at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne.
Established in 2006, the press continues the publishing tradition of the historic Éditions de l’Oiseau-Lyre, founded in Paris by Louise Hanson-Dyer in 1932. Lyrebird Press publishes peer-reviewed books and research on music and music making in Australia and New Zealand, with a particular emphasis on musicology, performance studies, and historical scholarship.
