Stefán Ragnar Höskuldsson is one of today’s most celebrated flutists, recognized worldwide for his extraordinary artistry, emotional depth, and impeccable technique. In 2025, he was appointed Principal Flutist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, following a distinguished tenure as Principal Flutist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (2015–2025) and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York (2008–2016).
