Faulisi Headjoints
Salvatore Faulisi is a French flute maker and designer who has created a range of flute headjoints under his own name, played by professional flutists worldwide.
Originally trained as a flutist under André Guérin in Chambéry, Faulisi combined musical study with a growing fascination for instrument craftsmanship. After completing several years of training and practical experience in Paris, he founded La Flûte Traversière in 1983, establishing a workshop dedicated to flute performance and repair.
Through this work, Faulisi developed expertise in the acoustic and mechanical aspects of the instrument, leading to the creation of his own line of handmade headjoints. Today, Faulisi Headjoints are known for their fine craftsmanship, clarity of tone, and French precision, continuing a tradition that began with the founding of his Paris workshop.
