The Cluj International Music Competition (CIMC) is a biennial classical music competition hosted by the Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and organized by the Notes & Ties Cultural Association. Since its founding, the competition has grown into a globally recognized event, attracting participants from Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Dedicated to fostering the next generation of exceptional musicians, CIMC alternates between flute, clarinet, and chamber music categories. With a total prize fund of €25,000, it provides not only financial awards but also valuable performance experience and international visibility for emerging artists.

The competition is known for its modern organization, artistic integrity, and high-caliber jury composed of internationally renowned performers and professors.
