❓Can I edit my listing later?
Yes! As long as your membership is active, you can make updates anytime.
❓Do I need a membership to be listed?
Yes. All listings are tied to active membership packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Lifetime).
❓How long does it take to approve my listing?
Listings are manually reviewed to ensure quality. Most are approved within 48–72 hours.
❓Can I feature my listing?
Yes. Featured placements in your category or on the homepage are available via Gold, Platinum, Lifetime, or as individual add-ons.
❓️If I have a membership with a set number of allowed listings (1, 2, or 5) and I delete a listing, do I get that slot back?
No. Once a listing is deleted, the system counts it as a used slot and it cannot be restored. We strongly recommend editing your existing listing instead of deleting it. This way, you keep your slot active and make the necessary updates without losing one of your allowed listings.
❓️ If I can’t pay for a listing, what can I do?
We believe no one should be excluded from the Global Directory. If you are unable to pay, we encourage you to explore these options:
- Apply for support: Read our Open Letter to Underrepresented Flutists to learn about opportunities for free listings.
- Contribute as an author: You may also write and submit an article for publication in Flute Almanac. If your article is approved and published, you will become part of our author team. All Flute Almanac authors receive one free listing in the Directory. Submission details can be found here.
