National Flute Association (USA) Competitions

$500 – 3,000
The NFA Competitions are among the most respected national flute competitions in the United States, held annually as part of the National Flute Association Convention.
Open to NFA members of all ages and levels, the competitions support artistic growth and professional development.
Categories include the Young Artist, High School Soloist, Baroque Flute Artist, Piccolo Artist, Adult Amateur, and many others – including non-performance competitions such as composition and research.
Winners are featured at the NFA Convention and receive monetary prizes, recognition, and career-boosting opportunities.
Other competitions (such as Adult Amateur, Jazz Flute Big Band, Orchestral Audition, and New Music) offer performance opportunities, scholarships, and industry visibility.
