ABOUT FLUTEPLAY MAGAZINE

FlutePlay is an international community of early childhood music educators dedicated to introducing young children to the flute through playful, age-appropriate, and innovative teaching methods.

Founded in 2019 by Canadian flutist and pedagogue Stéphanie Superle, FlutePlay’s mission is to make the flute one of the top three instruments recommended for young beginners.

With a strong emphasis on community, creativity, and collaboration, FlutePlay provides educators and families with a wealth of tools — from kid-friendly instruments and teaching materials to lesson plans, resources, and supportive networks.

The organization’s approach celebrates both the artistry and the joy of learning, showing that flute lessons can begin earlier than ever and still be fun, accessible, and rewarding.
