ABOUT ANTON KUSHNIR
Anton Kushnir is a distinguished Ukrainian flutist, educator, and cultural leader whose resilience and vision have inspired musicians worldwide. He holds a PhD in music, serves as Associate Professor, and is Dean of the Orchestral Faculty at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music (Kyiv Conservatory). A graduate of the same academy under the guidance of Prof. Volodymyr Antonov, Kushnir continued his studies at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Prof. Elżbieta Dastych-Szwarc.
In addition to his academic career, he is a performing artist with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. Beyond the stage, he is a dedicated scholar, authoring numerous research works on the history, theory, and methodology of flute performance.

For this extraordinary achievement, he was honored with the Inspirational Story Award 2024 at the Global Flute Excellence Awards.
