GLOBAL FLUTE EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Flute Almanac is the proud organizer and host of the first-ever Global Flute Excellence Awards, a groundbreaking international initiative launched in 2024 to recognize outstanding achievements in all areas of the flute world. This historic event brought together 52 esteemed judges from 19 countries and celebrated finalists and winners from 16 nations, highlighting excellence among flutists, makers, educators, innovators, and leaders in the global flute community.
The inaugural Awards were honored to have Sir James Galway and Lady Jeanne Galway serve as Honorary Chairs, lending their legendary presence and lifelong dedication to the flute as a symbol of inspiration and global unity. Their support helped elevate the prestige and international impact of this milestone celebration.
